In a Child's Eye

By Jim Hoskins

A cloud in the sky, in a child's eye could be a friend all day.

To sit in the grass and dream of castles, in lands so far away.

An alien invader, or superhero, or criminal at large.

A train, a horse, a plane, of course, a ship, a boat or barge.

To sit, to slide, to jump, and hide, all in a child's imagination.

To build, to be, to think, to see, it's all of his fabrication.

So don't think he's alone when he's playing outside.

He's with his friend and having fun with the cloud in the sky.
