MY FAVORITE PLACE

by Jim Hoskins 1977

There's a place beyond existence, a place beyond compare.

Beyond the farthest reaches of the solar atmosphere.

The door is in the Outer Limits, through the Black Hole,

Past the eye of the needle, in the land where atoms flow.

Where Protons are the Suns and Electrons are the Source.

But the way that you get there isn't the easiest way of course.

You Travel in a rocket then into a microscope,

And travel on the light rays across the rainbow of hope.

Then glide down on a feather of a dove that stands for peace,

Across the lake of emotions on a stream past the land of Greece.

Where you'll meet the Gods that guard the door, the door of time and space.

Where you'll see the years go by and visions of the human race.

You can see the corruption, war, and despair from technology to the crop.

Then when you least expect it the door will suddenly stop.

The greatest fears you've ever feared are right now before your face.

All the fears locked up in your mind of death, dragons, and snakes.

Then a flow of colors and smoke will come arise,

All will go blank, and all you've known will go away and die.

You are now a smaller person with a body that is new.

A very special body that will last all the years through.

Your in the place now where there's nothing you can't do.

All your favorite dreams are here and all the people you knew.

Everything is of your liking, because it's of your own fabrication.

Yes you are there now. You are in the land of your imagination.
